Welcome! Augusta's Foot Loose & Fancy Free Clogging studio is the home of the Grand Champion Dixie Sweethearts & Dixie Starz competition teams. The studio was organized in February of 1981, and is the longest running clogging studio in the area. We take pride in knowing that we have enriched the lives of many dancers over the last 31 years, and look forward to many more. Our studio offers beginner to competition level classes for ages 2 thru adult age. Clogging is an American Heritage that began as a traditional dance form done to bluegrass & country music, but is now also danced to pop & show tunes with more intricate footwork. At our studio, we teach, perform, and compete with both traditional & contemporary styles of clogging. Our dancers perform at numerous public & private events each year, as well as compete in several competitions. Our studio was selected to be a part of Comcast on Demand's Best of the City program in 2008. You can join our clogging family for fun, exercise, or competition....Cloggers have more fun!!!!
